My Mother Was Diagnosed With Esophageal Cancer Until...
    T. R. • May 4, 2010

In November 2009, my mother, who is 61 years old and VERY active started having difficulty swallowing. This lasted until April and it got so bad, she could barely swallow. She lost almost 30 pounds and that number would only increase as the trouble with eating became worse. She was finally sent to the Cleveland Clinic and was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer. She had breast cancer in 1995 and was very much in remission. She was getting ready for intense treatment. She had a long road ahead of her. The outlook was not good. The plan of treatment was 2 weeks of chemo and radiation followed by 4 weeks at home, then an 8-12 hour surgery to remove her total esophagus and connect her stomach under her throat. She would have a feeding tube and need another couple of months to recover. Then, she would have 2 more weeks of chemo and radiation. My neighbors had told me about Holy Love. My mother, father, myself and my sister went the next day. We attended a prayer service and went down to the Maranatha Spring and said many prayers. We brought 4 gallons of the Spring water home with us. She drank some that night and got very sharp pains in her throat. One week later we went back to the Cleveland Clinic for tests that started at 7 am till late. They wanted to make sure her body could handle the surgery. On Tuesday we met with her surgeon to discuss the surgery. We were so upset. The doctor came in and said,"You don't have esophageal cancer". A test read a false positive. The doctors all met in a conference about her. She is the first case her oncologist ever saw this happen to and the 3rd for her surgeon, who has performed many!!! They said it was a light breast cancer that was there from her last one. They will just give her radiation and she will be my healthy, active mom again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was really questioning my faith for a long time, and I know a lot of people will say, yea right, but I will say I truly believe in miracles and have faith again!! Never give up your faith. Holy Love is a holy place where miracles do happen!!!
