On October 19, 2001, due to severe pain throughout my body, my wife drove me to a hospital emergency room. I was diagnosed with pleurisy and pneumonia. Because of this severe pain I entered the emergency room six more times during November and December 2001. I was getting very little sleep and my condition worsened. I became concerned about my family and what would happen to them if I died.
In November and December I went to see a number of specialists. The one specialist indicated that I may have Wageners Granulomatosis (WG), an autoimmune deficiency of unknown cause. On December 29th I had a severe bout of pain and my wife took me again to the ER. We told the ER doctor about my diagnosis of WG and she confirmed that it was entirely possible. After all the tests were completed, my specialist did confirm that I had WG. He gave me a number of prescriptions and I began to feel better but I continued to have a lot of pain in my hands, arms, feet and legs.
From January through May, I continued to have pain even with 180 mgs of morphine. In early May I had two episodes of severe pain and one of these landed me back in the ER. We went back to the specialist but he could no longer help me. I said maybe I should go to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. My doctor indicated he would rather I go to the Cleveland Clinic since the Cleveland Clinic specializes in WB. We arrived at the clinic on May 30th.
My sister told us to go to Maranatha Spring and Shrine while we were in the Cleveland area. I didn’t give it much thought. My visit with the doctors at the Clinic did not reveal anything new and we were very disappointed.
The next day we decided to drive out to Maranatha Spring and Shrine. A lady in the gift shop gave us a large empty bottle so we could take some spring water back with us. We both thought how peaceful it was there. Out in the Two Hearts Field I saw a large halo that had the shape of a crown of thorns. We were in shock. We walked back to the pump and placed our hands in the water. As the water touched my hands the pain immediately disappeared. The trip back to the hotel was very quiet. It was as though we couldn’t believe what had just taken place.
The day after our return home I still had pain in my feet. My wife took some of the water from Lourdes and poured it on my right foot and the pain immediately left. She next took the water from Maranatha Springs and poured it on my left foot and the pain immediately left. Both were at room temperature and when they touched my feet the water was ice cold.
I was healed by God! The purpose of our trip to Cleveland was not to the doctor at the Clinic it was to see and be a part of the miracle at Maranatha Springs.
Thank you Jesus and Mary.
