I am writing this letter as a testimonial citing the power and intervention of Jesus and His Blessed Mother for the favors bestowed on a newborn infant. He was born with severe respiratory distress. He was not premature but the mother’s first baby died at birth and her second baby also suffered from severe respiratory distress at birth. So we were well aware of the power of prayer when the second baby survived this condition. The baby had the same congenital illness, and he was transferred from a hospital in the suburbs to Loyola’s Neonatal Unit in Maywood, Illinois. We called Holy Love and asked that the baby’s name and condition be placed on the Blessing Point for a healing.
Also, one of the girls I work with had traveled to Elyria and brought back holy water from Maranatha Spring. She gave it to me and I passed it to my niece to give to the baby’s mother. Prior to this time, nothing had worked. The baby was on a respirator and none of the medications brought him relief. The mother made the sign of the cross on the baby with the holy water. Within a matter of hours, the baby’s condition improved. There was no medical explanation for this miracle. Within days, the baby was removed from the respirator and he continued to improve daily. His mother was able to take him home within two and a half weeks after his transfer to Loyola.
His turnaround was miraculous and the baby’s mother, her family, along with my niece and I, are grateful to Our Blessed Mother for Her Holy Maranatha Spring and Her continued intercession to Jesus for this cure.
