The hallmark of such a one is self-righteousness. I continue to teach you about this, for today the majority of souls are torn away from Me by this path of inordinate self-love, apathy and arrogance. I give souls the grace of stripping away pride and seeing their hearts as I see them when they petition Me for it. Most, however, never ask. Most lack sincerity in their pursuit of holiness. This is because a sincere effort rises from a humble heart, not a self-satisfied heart.”
