St. Thomas Aquinas comes. He says: “Praise be to Jesus. Understand that God's Divine Will is at work even outside of the First Chamber. For it is His Will that draws the soul into purgation – the Chamber of Holy Love. Moreover, the Divine Will never changes; it is always pulling the soul into the Sixth Chamber which is the Highest Heaven. It is the soul's response to the Divine Will of God which changes from one Chamber to the next – always deepening and perfecting until it is conformed, and then, hopefully, united to the Will of God.”
