I (Maureen) was telling Blessed Mother that I couldn't believe it was Fall already, and that She had brought us through another whole season of pilgrims and of tourists. Our Lady appeared, smiling. She said: “Praise be to Jesus. I like how you put that – ‘pilgrims and tourists'. There is a big difference, you know.”
“The pilgrim is here to draw deeper into the Chambers of Our United Hearts. He is here for his own holiness, to please God and to pray for others. The tourist, on the other hand, comes to inspect the site, to examine the exterior phenomena – sometimes to criticize.”
“This Mission is about the interior life. The tourist misses the point. He is not that interested in the Messages or their meaning for himself. The pilgrim allows his heart to be transformed by Holy Love.”
